The Tether Tug Dog Toy is a great outdoor toy for dogs! It is specially designed to give cardiovascular exercise and mental stimulation every dog needs to be their best.

The Tether Tug is a durable, interactive toy designed to provide your dog with hours of fun and play, even when you are not around. The Tether Tug is really easy to setup! Simply drive the metal base into the ground, insert the 55" Tether Tug into the base, attach a Tether Toy and your dog is ready to play! The Quick Connector allows toys to be easily changed out to fit any dog's preference.

Tether Tug is dedicated to promoting healthy physical and mental play for dogs of all activity level. We recognize that pets are an important member of any family and it is our goal to keep them healthy and happy.

Medium Tether Tug

A great toy for small to medium sized dogs between 15-35 lb. The toy comes with a 55" Tether Tug pole, an in-ground base that allows the tug to remain firmly in the ground and be removed when needed, and a knotted rope toy with a "quick connector" to allow for easy changing of toys when needed.

Flexible construction allows toy to turn, bend, and stretch during play

XLarge Tether Tug

The Tether Tug XL is the biggest, strongest, most durable tether tug. Built with our strongest, thickest core, as well as a larger, more heavy duty in-ground base, the Tether Tug XL is designed for all dogs over 60 lbs and any size pit bull. The XLarge's knotted rope toy is set higher than the medium tether tug, but still provides the same level of energetic play as the original. The XLarge comes with an in-ground base that allows the tug to spin and turn, as well as a quick connector to allow for toy changes.

Cardiovascular Health

Dogs, like humans, are at risk for health complications if they do not get enough physical activity. Tether Tug Dog Toys allow your dog to play whenever they want and provides hours of healthy exercise.

Hours of Outdoor Play

Dogs crave play and interaction, and when this can't happen, destructive behavior can begin. The Tether Tug allows the dog to interact as if it is playing tug with you, without the arm and shoulder pain or fatigue that causes owners to only pull for a few minutes.

Our 1 year old Border Collie loves this toy! Strong and durable ;)

I bought a large one for my large dog. She loved it until she broke it within 2 days. She tugged it to the ground the second day and it snapped like a twig. So, it's great if they are just tugging, but if they bend it to the ground you will want to stop them before they do so.

My Belgian Malinois loved it....while it lasted. The first one snapped in a month and the company sent me another but soon that Tether Tug met its demise as well. They are a great All American company who has awesome customer service and handmakes their products so I wish I could give more stars but it just doesnt hold up to a Maligator.

Not for a giant breed (we bought the XL version)! My 13 month old male Great Dane (~135lbs) was too strong for it. He loved it, but the ground could not hold it. We sunk it into hard clay soil with a sledge hammer. But the puppy was able to pull back and forth and had the base wiggling in the soil in 3 minutes. The base appears too short (12.75 inches to the pin), and has no screw threads to help hold it. FWIW, I did not see any indication that he would snap it off (as another mentioned)... so could be okay for a MUCH smaller, less powerful breed.
