Wanted to ask if this grooming rake can be used on short haired breeds like Belgian Malinois, Labrador or say a Doberman? Ur rake for short coated breeds is not available on ur web site for quite sometime now. Hence this query.

ADMIN: this rake would probably not be very helpful unless you have a double coated dog with an undercoat (German Shepherd, Malinois, Corgi, etc)

This is one of the finest tools I have ever used. For a long-haired dog with a really thick undercoat, it's the only thing we've found that will get down to the skin--and I'm pretty sure we've tried everything. Tip: It also greatly reduces the amount of time it takes to remove hundreds of cockleburs (down from 2 or 3 hours to maybe 2 or 3 minutes). We have one of these rakes in the car and one in the house, and absolutely the only problem is that we keep losing them.

I've purchased so so many grooming tools including all kinds of combs, rakes, stripping knives, and clippers for my dog, and this is among the best of them. It even looks cute with all the paws and bones patterns, and the price is reasonable too.

I wanted to write you to let you know that I received the white grooming rake for german shepherds today. I have to admit, I have never used such quality equipment and I am very pleased. It will probably be with me for life. It is great. I used it on my dogs today and I saw colors in their coats that I have never seen before. Every german shepherd owner should own one of these.
