Description

Leerburg’s BioThane Long Lines are 3/4 inch wide. Our hardware (Snap and Ring) is the finest stainless steel that we can buy.

Our stainless steel hardware cannot be compared to the chrome hardware (which will rust) on competition lines.

The main leash has a tensile strength of 750 lbs, and the prong addition ahs a tensile strength of 500 lbs. It is lighter and stronger than leather. We had our Amish harness makers attach a BioThane line and a leather line to their draft horses. The leather broke before the BioThane in three different tests. Click here to watch the video.

BioThane (unlike leather) is not affected by rain or getting wet.

This leash is made so that a prong collar is attached to one clip and dominant dog collar is attached to second clip. When or if the prong collar fails and comes off the dog, the second collar is already attached without interfering with the prong collar corrections. Made out of BioThane, a soft and pliable material, yet very strong.

MADE IN THE USA

Leerburg leather products are works of art.

100% of Leerburg leather products are made in Wisconsin. We don't use leather from India, Pakistan, or Mexico like 100% of our competitors use.

This leash is great. The quality is good and it's a nice non leather option (and cheaper) for a prong collar leash.
My dog is an american pitbull type dog about 50 pounds and so far so good !
I love the orange colorway. Definitly recommend this product!

I like the fact that you don't have to worry about the prong coming off and your dog running a muck! 2 people in my dog class have ordered them.

The Prong Collar Leash is Awesome. I have been using the prong leash for over a year and have recently introduced it to the dog rescue that I volunteer at. This leash has become an integral part of our structured walks. Many of the dogs have never been on leashes before and are unfortunately in their pens for much of the day. Since they come out all amped up This leash makes it easier to use the prong with a martingale collar for safety. I would highly recommend it. The only thing missing is a discount for Rescues (Hint Hint).

Great leashes! I've had mine for about 4 years &use it on boxer and boxer/pit mix every day. Even when the outside part of the leash has cracked, there is another layer inside made of material & is still strong as ever! I live in South Dakota, so this has been in blistering cold & heat, rain & snow!

This is a quality built product, very sturdy. My only complaint with it is it can be come slippery; often times when I am outdoors training my dog, my hands can get a bit sweaty due to the heat. This can cause the leash to become slippery and hard to grip, which isn't much of a problem if your dog doesn't pull when it becomes distract by something in the training environment. If the dog begins to pull and your hands are sweaty , or slippery from using treats, it becomes very difficult to grip the leash. I believe Leerburg sells a textured BioThane leash which might overcome this issue, but I can't speak to it since I don't own one.
