All the stores in our area had been out of plain pumpkin for over a year, but finally they have it back on the shelves now!
It is the regular Libby's brand that I assume most people have been using. Not sure about other states, but if it is here, I am sure that it won't long before it has reached most grocery stores soon, if it hasn't already!
Not that I use it that often, but it sure comes in handy when you need it!
Trader Joe's stores in CT have had it all along. I usually pick up a can every once in a while when I am in there, which is often. LOL Don't know if that is the case in other areas of the US. I have seen Libby's in our area, also all along. Weird.
Hmmm, the article said that Libby's increased the price to $1.79, but at my grocery store, I paid $2.59!
Oh well, it is just nice to have it back on hand.
Funny, all that talk about pumpkin pie, and all of us care about is feeding it to our dogs when they get the runs!
But with Thanksgiving approaching, I guess it is just in time for those pies.
My husband and son thought I had lost my mind when I practically yelled PUMPKIN!! and grabbed 10 cans to stash.
Nico has had a wonky tummy lately. She seems to crave or need some kind of carbs, from to her continued efforts to eat our bread at any given chance.....I might just give her a little spoonful once a day to see if it helps with that.

I did the same thing in the store, only I was alone and said aloud, PUMPKIN! I am sure if anyone heard me, they thought the same thing!
I think that is a good idea to give a small amount of the pumpkin to Nico. I do think it helps keep their bowels regulated. Plus, all that carotene just has to be good too.
