As stated in my bio I have a 3 month old female GSD that I plan on doing schutzhund with. She has great drives and is very playful and extremely confident for such a young puppy. I also just recently found out that Zidane Vom Haus Sevens is her grand father. I have heard he was a great dog in his day and I hope she has some of his traits. sorry about the rambling but I would like to get your recommendations on a dvd set that would have good exercises and training techniques for schutzhund. TIA for your comments and I hope you all have a wonderful day.
Check out this page and scroll down to the Puppy DVD's. The Raising a Working Puppy and M.E.'s the Power of Playing Tug are very popular ones... they all are really. Anything M.E. does with LB is excellent.
so raising a working puppy and POPT with ME. like I said I'm wanting to get a dvd set of probably 4 so what next 2 would you get if you were starting out in the situation I am.
Probably The Power of Training with Food, Bite Training for Puppies, Your Puppy 8 wks to 8 months AND Pack Structure... just incase you want a few more options.
Of the five LB videos I have as well as a few others, "The Power of Training with Food" is far and away the most useful dog training video I own.
I think you could watch this video 50+ times and still pick up something new each time. I can't thank Ed and Michael enough for teaming up to create this awesome training tool!
