@ Jewel Blanch: I agree! Thanks
@ Mike Morrison: Thanks! At her age I'm just enamored with her "puppiness"(sp?), everything is fun, win, fun , win, just watching her explore the world is fascinating.
Yesterday on our morning walk she spotted a couple moose(cow w/ calf)camoflauged in a bunch of willows on my property and bristled up and barked, I might of walked right by them, which can be bad. So she is already at work She really has no fear, she will investigate at a distance, cock her head and then look at me.
These are different moose but I wanted to show this picture!
we have 4-5 moose on average on our land most weeks, year round, need to make sure my GSD's learn to respect the power of the hoof!

Wanted to post an update on my pup.
Here is ISIS at 12 weeks old she weighs 22 lbs.
I feed her raw and high quality kibble (National).
She gets hambuger(lean), turkey, chicken, fish, shushimi and round steak.
I do bite/grip work w/ her 3x per day- leather rag, we walk 4x per times, and basic commands 4x per day for 10-15min.
I have her "watch" up to 10 sec., she sitz before going out doors automatic (most of the time).
Shes doing pretty good on the leash I let her explore with in reason. Ill start with Fuss in another month.
Just thought I'd update. I'll be getting my male pup in 2 weeks and I'll post picts when I get him settled in.
Good training!

@ Amber Morgan
Thanks! She looks solid in this pick, her body seems to morph on a daily basis
I know having 2 Gsd pups is going to be a challange, but I have the time, space and support(trainers/breeders and club members) to do it right.
I was thinking of posting a running journal of my trials with raising both pups. I wonder if anyone would be interested.
Could be a great learning tool or at least provide some conversation.

Here is ISIS at 4 months old.
I couldnt be happier with my girl, she does everything I ask and never ceases to amaze me with her intelligence and love.
Shes one part loyal solider and one part playful she_devil!
I only hope I bring out the best in her and provide her with as much joy as she gives me. that would make me happy!

She's beautiful Jason, sturdy and solid looking with an intelligent face and alert eyes. I know the kind of dog you're talking about - the one part loyal soldier and part she/he-devil - it's the GSD You described it beautifully. I love the sentiment you have about providing her with joy...I feel the same way.
Your post is beautiful and made me think about all the GSDs I've had.

Thanks all for your comments.
In that picture we are playing "Herd the soccer balls". I have 2 soccer balls and I throw them for her after she performs whatever comand we are working on.
It's funny she tries to take both at the same time by leap frogging them.
Today Weve been out tracking all morning, she just loves it.
She is very intense when playing/training but very sweet when shes in the house at night (as long as she had enough exercise), very affectionite with the whole family.

jason,
great looking pup you got there.
but man, what with the prongs?
ithink you probably way to early
inoticed alot of peapole in the usa start using the prongs abit early than we do.
maybe you know somthing we dont?
do you use it in adiffrent way or just like as with an adoult?
maybe you just pot it in an early age and attach the leash to the flat collar for conditioning it without corections?
anyway ithink 4 months is to soon.
but eather way you got great looking pup.
and iloved the moss picture.
