I know it's a general rule of thumb to double the dogs' weight at 4 months and that is a rough estimate for their adult weight.
Puppies at 5 months continue to grow in height and head size and girth, right? I mean, there is no dog at 4 1/2-5 months who just continues to gain weight, but stays their same size, right?
I'm at a point with my lil pup 4.5 months old...people are talkin', thinking he will stay this size and just "fill out". He's 20 lbs now and I'm thinking he'll get a bit bigger.
Humor me. Tell me this mutt-tut-ski will get bigger.
His breed is not listed on the chart. (harddy-harhR--lol)
Time will tell. Like I told you, I really never thought I'd be wondering like I am, and now that I have wondered, I guess I'm done wondering and will eventually end up where we end up, right? LOL.

Will let you all know what we end up with...any bets? HAA!
BC/heeler mixed with Beagle. My guess where we'll end up is around 35 lbs and about 18 inches tall. ??? I don't kNOW!
He's 20 lbs now and 14 inches tall at 4.5 months.
I think smaller dogs get to their adult size faster than large dogs.
I saw a French bulldog puppy one time that at 11 weeks was about 2/3 the size of his mother. My dog was 2/3 his adult size at 4-5 months (he's 65 lbs).
Also with a mixed breed, he could take more after one parent (or grandparent) than another. If he takes after the Beagle, he would be smaller than if he takes after the heeler.
My above-mentioned young man's mother is 50 lbs. He obviously took after his (unknown) father.
