I missed the "WHY" links. Maybe I'll do it again to read those. I find it distressing that they put so much emphasis on the looks of the Siberian Husky.
IMHO, looks is one of the key factors in bad choices. I think that was why they worded the description like they did. IMO, it sounded like a precautionary statement, as in "don't get sucked in by this handsome boy's looks".

Portuguese Water Dog followed by Curly Coat Ret and a bunch of Spaniels.... English Cocker, English Springer and Field.
Interestingly, I do like the Curly Coat Retriever. A friend of my mom's bred them when I was a kid and I fell in love with them.
Spaniels, though... not sure where those all came from... maybe Spaniel Rage....

How do you tend to react when a good friend starts telling you a story you've already heard?
(a)Interrupt and beat her to the punchline.
(b)Smile and nod, smile and nod.
How does this help select a dog breed?? XD
I have to say, it may sound rude but i am defiantly interrupting and then telling her "HAHA i have already heard that!"
Sounds mean when i think about it.. But my friends don't seem to mind me!!
Wonder how these questions can help you select a breed for you?
OMG HEY! Leerburg should make a SERIOUS breed selecting test!
Like DEEP questions like "your friend buys you a drink, but you need to get going to work. You..."
Stuck at the leash question......
Seriously.
There should be a "why does he need to be off leash in public anyways"
But i guess i DO take my weim offlesh on our hikes in woods..
So offleash it is?

Portuguese Water Dog
If you're a boater, fisherman, or simply love the water, this may be the breed for you.
English Springer Spaniel
Enthusiastic and beautiful, the Springer is friendly, active, and quick to learn.
Field Spaniel
This breed is energetic, friendly, loving, and playful.
Flat-Coated Retriever
The Peter Pan of retrievers is known for its sense of humor.
German Shorthaired Pointer
Meet the ultimate sport utility dog.
My results!
Lots of retrievers and pointers!
I'm not a fisherman! But i do swim the lake in my backyard. My weim doesn't swim much. So i go alone, or with other peoples dogs.

I didn't take the test
My choices would be working line in all breeds I like.
GSD, Australian Cattle dog. Australian Shepherd. Kelpie
Numerous different terrier breeds
Border, JRT, Kerry Blue, Patterdale, Fells, Airedale
The continental type sporting breeds such as
GSP, Wiemar, Visla, Drathar.
Lurchers of different crosses.
I know I'm forgetting something....but I'm old!
In the past I've had a farm type Collie, GSD x Dane, GSD x Collie, St. Bernard, Wiemar, Kerry Blues, Border terriers, Norwich, White Bull, Pit, Australian Shepherd, a few working terrier crosses and numerous mutts intermingled in there.
old dogs LOVE to learn new tricks |

I just took the test for fun. It was so off-based that I'm not even going to post the results.
But I am with Kelly. Those questions were ridiculous. I was thinking up some way better ones as I took the test.
I wonder who the so-called expert is, who created the test??

My results were terrible, and the last one down was the cocker spaniel, a breed I actively loath (they're dumb as rocks more often than not now, they're boring and driveless compared to what I'm used to, they tend to stink, they have a coat I can't stand, I don't like the way they look, they have a variety of unpleasant health issues)
My next dog is an alaskan husky outcross breeding a friend of mine is doing for a third sled team member, I will always have at least one cattle dog and one crazy herder (malinois or dutchie). The other spots are open for debate but never will a cocker spaniel fill those spots.
