Recommendations
Leerburg recommends adding an additional 2 inches to sleeve measurements to allow for room to tuck hands up in the sleeves. This helps to avoid dog bites to the hands.
Description
The training suit is the heaviest suit in the Mondioring/French Ring series. It gives maximum protection in this type of suit. The training suit has a bigger outer and inner size then the semi training because the filling of this suit is fuller and larger for training.
There are 3 types of Mondio/French Ring suits: Competition, Semi Training, and Training (this suit). The training suit is the thickest and most protective, while the competition suit is the thinnest. Between those two is the semi training suit. Because the Competition suit is the thinnest, it is also much lighter in weight and more flexible than the Training suit, but it provides less protection.
Like all of the other types of suits we offer, this suit is made according to size and desire. It is therefore very important to measure very accurately by using the measuring form and give as much information as possible about your special wishes. All fabric used in these bite suits is developed through the many years of experience that Seynaeve has in making bite suits. From the wires of textiles to the fibers of the filling. Only the finest raw materials are used to design and manufacture these bite suits.
Suit Care
After using your suit it is recommended that you hang the suit in a WARM, DRY LOCATION. The more air flow you can get to the inside of the suit, the better. This will maintain the flexibility and life of your bite suit.
Once a suit is dry, it is recommended to brush any dirt off the suit with a stiff brush.
Some people will dry clean or wash a suit. Doing so will actually put dirt inside the suit. The more a suit is washed the less protective it becomes.
A Note from Ed Frawley
I have been around body bite suits since 1985 and I have never seen a suit that comes close to the quality of these Seynaeve Bite Suits. There are cheaper suits on the market, but when you're faced with an 85 pound adult Malinois, that's a very serious dog, skimping on the protection offered in a suit is not where you want to save money.
