This is my dog's favorite toy, hands down. He is not the destroyer type but has a very strong bite and the Hurley bone is the only toy that has stood the test of time. Not only that, but he never gets tired of playing with it. He is a larger dog, 70 pounds. I love westpaw products!

We love the Hurley Dog Bone. For reference, Cannon is a German Shorthaired Pointer and is about 40lbs at 6 months old in this picture (please excuse the giant hematoma on top of his head. I know it's disturbing, but he's okay.). The large size worked perfect for him then and is still great now at 55lbs and almost 2 years old. This and the goughnuts toys are the only things he hasn't been able to destroy in under 15 minutes. I have seen him completely close his jaws around the end of this thing and it just springs right back to shape. There are a few TINY slits in it from his teeth, but no pieces missing and no threat that it will break so far. It also has a nice weight and throws really well! A MUST if you have a dog with insanely strong jaws that loves to chew.
My dog likes toys that have a "give" to them but he is extremely hard on them. We got the blue one. The exterior feels like a Kong or Goughnut but it flexes about an 1" when both ends are pulled down. He liked the shape and the groove on the ends; he would roll it around in his mouth and toss it and pick it up. He would gnaw on the end and then switch to the middle. After about 30 minutes with the toy we heard a snap and he had broken it in half. If your dog is a normal chewer, he/she will really like the shape and give of this toy.
