Falk was a awesome dog. He did tend to produce dogs that were not too bidable. He was a widley used stud dog untill Bingo came on the scene. He was a far more serious dog than Bingo was.
The Bayern lines are very good. He line bred on Eick and Falk. These are proberbly two of the most serious dobes that have been. You do not get dobes like these anymore. Maybe Pedro is simliar.
Ah, it took a while for the penny to drop. Cindy Easton. I have you on video working Cira Kaiserhaus What was Cira's father like? How does a guy like Gary end up buying a dobe like Arcus?
Keep those Eschenhof and Nymph lines as there are very few people who breed on them any more.

Cyra's father was an imported dual purpose PSD, he was not a large dog but very compact and my experience with him was good. Social yet not looking for contact with anyone but his handler. Lots of drive, even in his 'golden years'. Gary bought the dog for Jon Warner, and that is who the dog lived with until he died. I had two litters out of Arcus with my female Elka v. Schonenberg. The last time I bred to him he was 11 1/2 years old!! (I had 9 pups in the litter)I believe he lived to be 13 or so....
I like the Eschenhof/Nymphenburg stuff personally,a little fiery and sharp-- no drive building required!! LOL The female I just bred is tightly linebred though and I needed to outcross and wanted to add more bone, substance and rock solid nerves....hence putting 3000 miles on my 'used to be' new van to breed to Alfred (Janus Bayern x Anushka Germania). Can't wait to see what we get!!
"Ohhhhh here she comes, watch out boys she'll chew you up
Ohhhhhh here she comes, she's a man eater"
(Cyra's theme song-- Maneater by Hall n' Oats)
A good friend of mine imported some of the best dobes that have come into this country (Australia). He has bred on with them and now he breeds some of the most serious and intence dobes around.
One of them was a male called Tass v Eschenhof SchH A (Lord v Eschenhof x Queen v Eschenhof). Now here was an old german style dobe. He was a military dog that patroled the Berlin Wall and became available when his handler retired. Too many storys about him but needless to say I think you would have liked him.
I have a 10 year old Tass Grand-daughter. She will still fight every dog she can get to and I could take her on the streets tonight no probs.
My friend has also recently imported Pascha vd Weyermuhle and frozen semen from Bronco vd Doberwache. He also bought an Arco vd Weyermuhle daughter when no-one had heard of Weyermuhle. She was also a Ilo v Kirchbuhle grand-daughter and also went to Mira v Eschenhof.
You bred to Avatar a couple of times I understand, how did you see him as a procucer and a dog? He was very much line bred Eschenhof

I did breed to Avatar and loved the pups I got from him, unfortunately I never got females to keep back. My litter was only males. Avatar himself was IMO what a Dobermann should be. I kept him in my home for several weeks while Tina was in Florida. He had temperament, drive, good nerves and was a SERIOUS dude!!! I have seen lots of Avatar kids and they have the looks and temperament I like as well. Pretty with good working drives. My foundation bitch Elka was a Feus daughter and Avatar was linebred on Feus.
The bitch I just bred is from my D litter (a TIGHT breeding--Elka to an Elka x Arcus son)....... I had to outcross and Alfred is the first dog I have seen in years that made me want to have another Dobe litter. I haven't had one in 4 years!!
Can't wait to meet the next generation of little doberdogs....... I really like what I see and hear of the Bayern and Weyermuhle dogs but haven't seen the combo of bloodlines that I just tried. Puppies due October 14th if all goes well!!
Why did everyone jump on Wizmz? He stated a fact. Cindy I was curious where you were from? You said you took care of Avatar when Tina went to Fl. Are you from the area? Wizmz is an excellent source for info. Maybe before you attack someone else you should know what your talking about. Avatar was a good dog. I am not too keen on that close of a linebreeding though.
Well Im not the source for training info. They are better people for that (I like Richard's posts), but if you need help finding something Im usually good at that.

This thread is annoying me. However, Cindy is certainly more than capable of defending herself so out of respect for her and since Ed has already responded..... I won't close it.
