Actually it was a combined Flinks/Winkler seminar and was advertised that way.

Well your memory and the ones of others that were there are definitely different. The stadium we used is about 8 miles away and the extra tracking fields are about 6 so unless you walked it was about a 12 minute ride. I worked my dog everyday and a couple of days twice. No you never complained until I raised a question about the expense of the seminar. Then you threw the entire seminar under the bus. I'm trying to figure out if there is anything you haven't complained about yet.

You flatter yourself way too much, only reason I remembered who you are is because it was pointed out to me. I sure don't remember your dog. No reason to remember me as I was just another person at the seminar. In the future don't insinuate someone might lie when you stated you didn't remember them so you wouldn't really know how many times a day or how long I worked my dog now would you?

Obviously we go to seminars for different reasons. I don't need to work my dog to exhaustion to benefit and I'm able to learn by watching others work their dogs. Personally I don't need someone to feed me 4 times a day and have a Coke truck sitting on site to make or break my day.

Not sure about whether or not you let your dogs do all your talking as you have no problem letting your fingers run here. As for being cocky you might want to start at my original post and go from there. I commented on the what I thought was a bit of a steep price and you decided it necessary to diss the seminar we held here. Not going to let that slide no matter who you are or think you are. Now as for meeting on the field would that be training somewhere or at an actual trial as I've looked through the archives for USA and AWDF over the last few years for the big events and try as I may I didn't see your name listed anywhere. Me, well I'm just a little fish in a big pond but someone such as yourself with the seminars and breeding program and beautiful professional training facility, one would expect to see you entered in one of the national events. Perhaps I missed your entry if so please point it out.

Sounds like a great seminar to me.

If $600 is too much money, there will be a low attendance.

If there are too many handlers that want to attend, then $600 is too low.

This is America, arguing about price is a waste of bandwidth.

Let's put things into perspective.
One, you seem like the kind of type who likes to play with words or doesn't really think about what he says.
You have to understand COMPLAIN AND FACT are two different things.
I never complained and I still haven't complained about that seminar, and like I said, save me a spot for the next one.
If you can't understand that it my response was just an answer to your posts. I was merely explaining to you what the difference will be. You compared my seminar to that seminar first therefore you brought that to the table. I never talked about that seminar before and would not have unless you brought it up.
You said in your post that you worked your dog once a day at that seminar ,afew times twice a day, so in those 5 days you worked 25 minutes with Bernhard Flinks, and that is exactly what I said to you in my previous post.

I was trying to expain to you that one of the differences between my seminar and that seminar (that you brought up) people will experience every single day of my seminar with Bernhard what you experienced in your 25 minutes over the course of that 5 day seminar.
Whether or not it makes or breaks your day to have meals and beverages made easily accessible it certainly makes a seminar run more smoothly and save valuable learning time , which in the end,doesn't everybody wish for that?
You were funny that you said I flatter myself and in your previous post you said you remembered me, that someone pointed me out to you. So why did they point me out? Because I was good looking?
You have lost any credibility in my eyes when you said you did not remember my dog and that is why this will be my last response to you, for that is what you deserve.
It was at the beginning of the seminar(the first and only time of that seminar that everybody was all together and gathered, seated at the field) that I was helping Bernhard and demonstating training techniques on the field with my dog, so how can you say you don't remember my dog.You should be able to recall, Bernhard repeatedly pointed out to people to pay attention and said that this what high level training looks like.
And at the same time you have lost my interest in what you have to say after your overdramatizing when you said that you don't need to work your dog into exhaustion, so dramatic(stop watching so much soap operas on tv). You know exactly and you don't fool anybody with some knowledge with dogs that when you can train and not have too many teams, you can break up the training segments down for each dog so that the dog can have down time as needed without having any dog get exhausted.
Furthermore, with your comments directed towards my credibility,you need only to listen to yourself and the answer is right before you. K9Nation has only been open to the public in this country for less than two years and at the same time that is when our breeding program began.
That is why I have one year old GSD's picked for our breeding program for our kennel and getting trained for Schutzhund.
So if you want to see me trial at National levels, it will only be a matter of time. Perhaps I'll see you there or perhaps not, only time will tell. But one thing is certain for you, this is the last minute I give to you. One thing I most detest is hypocrisy.

I agree. After reading his description of what happens in his seminar, I'm even more interested in going. This sounds like something that you can walk away from MUCH more educated that you were when you started. And with the one-on-one time available...think what that would cost you by the hour!

I have already read what Bernard Flinks thinks about Francesco and his seminars (excellent), and I know what I think of Bernard Flinks...so, to me, it's a no-brainer that this is going to be worth some dough.

Francesco, I'll be getting married in early June, so I can't reserve a spot at this time. But if for some reason you still have space available after I get all of this wedding nuttiness taken care of, I will be VERY interested in attending. And if not, I hope you'll continue to let us know of upcoming seminars.

Keith, I went to the seminar last year, and you can read my article about the event in the Sch USA Magazine.(it came out a few editions ago, I don't have it right at my fingertips)

The way Francesco had his Bernhard Flinks seminar presented to the attendees was superb. It was a CONSTANT learning experience, with all types of training fields available and he had every type of eqiupment one could possibly want to use.

Additionally, the people who attended added to the level, as each person was extremely dedicated and also friendly! We had a USA judge join us, and other highly respected Sch people.

This seminar was extremely well coordinated, and Francesco worked his A$$ off to make sure that all of us had good nourishment and refreshing beverages so that we could focus on learning, and not be distracted by little things like thirst, famine, and how far is the bathroom!!!

Also, it is 1000% true that while we ate and regrouped.... we talked and digested not just our food, but also the wealth of information we had just all been exposed to. It was a wonderful opportunity for all.

NO ONE overworked their dogs, but everyone had ample time to work on learning techniques to strengthen their individual dog's performance.

Attending a seminar run by Francesco is money well spent, and add Bernhard Flinks to that......priceless!

Hello,everyone hope all is well. This past weekend I paid a visit to the new K9 Nation training facility in cobbleskill ny. IN the past I have visited many training facilities and in my opinoin none can compare to francesco carotenuto's new place it is absolutely beautiful.The living quarters are located in the middle of 20 acres of sprawling well kept grass fields. He has seperate fields for tracking,obedience and protection.I highly recomend attending the upcoming Flinks seminar at the end of june, it will be worth every penny!I will definitely be attending,especially after seeing all the preparations, it looks as if he is preparing for the WUSV world championship, for sure in the future one of these big events can be held there.Hope to see you there.
