I get a lot of emails from Austrilia about this crook. Many of them contain personal accounts from people Kris has screwed. I think they write just to share the frustration of getting screwed by this guy - but they ask that I not publish their emails because they are sick of the guy and want him to fade into a BAD MEMORY. I honor their request.

With that said I will cut and paste portions of emails that don't identify the author.

There's heaps more stories like these, but I can't write them for other people. Just can just share my own with you and say; do not feel upset KK does not answer your calls - he does not answer anyone's calls unless he is going to advance his immediate interests by doing so. Everyone who's brushed with him has their own uniquely fascinating tale to tell. There are stories I have heard of several similar age litters all kept in the same run, litters born with two pups and having four or more pups some weeks later, there was a smuggled GSD import from South Africa that was investigated. I have examples of his breeding contracts (often delivered after the money is paid and before the rego application goes in) and other people's posts about his activities filed away somewhere - if you're interested. But it hardly matters, because he is what he is. Most people in working dogs here for a few years find that out..I guess you were just a little behind in finding out what most here already know. He's an interesting person to talk to in many ways - not just about dogs, but can be quite interesting on other topics. (He is quite intelligent but he's lazy and wants to have it all without the work, by taking short cuts - and usually using someone else to pay for it.)

He is not worth spitting on, in fact I wouldn't even piss on him if he was on fire. Once a crook always a crook. By the way, about that blind dog of Reg's, I saw that pup when it was about three maybe four weeks old, he metioned to me then that it had a problem. I was surprised that he didn't put the bloody thing down, then I found out he sold the thing to Reg I was blown away, this confirMed for me everything I has suspected. One thing I can't understand however, why would Ed Frawley send KK 49 straws of semen? What can I say!! I must be missing something. May I say however, I am glad that he is being targeted by an interantional personality. It has much more sting this way and the implications are far more broad that just OZ. The sooner this asshole gets weeded out the better. We need people we can trust and that are honest in these circles. But you know what we say about a dog's foundation, that its what they will always fall back on. If it's good that's a bonus, if it's bad, you're bad you are in deep shit. Well he started with Neville seeing as we all know his history, one can assume that's the foundation that has been laid for KK.

It is sad but true. He has been blinded by greed. I have always said there is nothing wrong with greed, so long as you keep it in perspective.

If you don't expose yourself to public scrutiny and put yourself in a situation where you can be judged by your peers, Ha! Ha! for your capabilities and your achievements, he doesn't need to prove anything to the dropkicks whom he is trying swindle. They are none the wiser. His marketing campaign has nothing to do with truth. The good thing with all these "idiot gurus", of which there is plenty, is that people eventually realise they are being taken for a ride. They will in turn often work against them, once they have seen the light. The bad thing is that dropkicks with the capacity to fund these "idiot gurus" projects keep coming out of the woodwork.
I lived with this (HIM) so to speak, in this case long enough to understand how he operates. He has no scruples, conscience and is devoid of any capacity to be able to associate with individuals who don't apprciate the bullshit he spins. He has no true friends. All his friends are purely acquaintences. The reality is he has nothing of quality to offer them, they just have funds he can tap into in order to milk. He is driven only by the dollar. Between us, I think I qualify to make this statement.

Here is an email I got today from a person in Austrilia - looks like the kennel club kicked Kris out for awhile.

Too bad they kennel club does not do DNA checks on the puppies he breeds. I wrote them and told them what he was doing. Their answer was that this was a CIVIL MATTER. I asked how could falsifying breeding records and using one studs semen on a bitch and then claiming it to be abother stud who did the breeding be a civil matter?

I have read with interest your posts about VonForell Kennels and its owner and well known con man Kris.

I was reading my copy of the Victorian Canine Association newsletter and it appears that Mr. Kotsopolous has been suspended fom the Kennel Club for a period not less than 6 months and has been fined $500. Appaently he was breeding his females every season and has been caught out by the kennel club. So it seems to be going from bad to worse for him.

Maybe he decides to get out of dogs. I mean his reputation is so low now he cannot catch up.

Thats fine. Its out in the public arena now. I will tell you a true story of just one of Kris's scams. While everyone has their own story, this one is my favourite. It happened to a friend of mine here in Victoria.

Kris had found a keen guy who had some money and wanted to get into working dogs. So Kris told him that he could find some quality dogs for him and help him import them.

So my friend agreed and Kris told him about a 100% DDR female available in the USA called Bella v Rosenwig. My friend then gives Kris the money to purchase the female and agreed to bring her in whelp to Stormfronts Brawson. So my friend paid for the female, the stud fees, the shipping and kenneling costs and the quarentine costs. He paid for everything, as it was his dog and his litter. Kris informs him that all he wants for his time and effort is two pups from the litter. So my friend agrees.
The female comes in and the litter is whelped. As Kris had been the contact with the people in the USA they send him the paperwork. Kris then proceeds to register the litter in his Von Forell prefix and then supplies my friend with the papers for his pups. The papers he gives my friend are "limited Registration" pedigrees, which means the pups cannot be bred from. Kris however gives himself "full Registration" papers on the two pups he keeps.

So this friend pays for everything and Kris gives him pedigrees that he cannot even breed on with.

It was after this that my friend has now left the dog scene.
This is what Kris is all about. And after doing all of this Kris cannot see to this day that he did anything wrong in this matter.
But like I said, everyone in OZ has their own story and I have no doubt that some are worse.

Feel free to add this as well. These stories need to be told.

A friend of mine just told me you've had bad dealings with the "gentleman" mentioned above, and were looking for any others in australia who have had similar bad experiences with him. I can definitely tell you he is NOT a man of good character, to say the least. I very stupidly replied to an add he had in a newspaper, regarding recruitment of dog handlers for his "business" and I do use that term very loosely. At the interview I was told that there was a 12 step training schedule, which would not take all that long at all, most likely 3 months, which is quite normal.

However, after 18 months, there was still no sign of any work ever being forthcoming. In that time, anything the dog needed had to be supplied by me, the dog crate, run, etc etc etc.

The only thing he would offer, was dog food, which he wasn't paying for anyway, as he was getting that for free from Purina Dog Food in Sydney. Training was quite ridiculous as well. You would expect with something as serious as narcotic/explosives detection, that the training would be full time, however this was not the case. It seems that according to this particular company, once a week, for a total of approximately 4 hours (this is not just four hours with myself and my dog alone, but for approximately half a dozen handlers and their dogs), which is far from adequate. When I repeatedly told him I was unhappy about how slow things were going, and that I wanted to be working, he suggested that I work for him doing security work, until things were ready to start in the detection side of it. This seemed like a good idea, but as usual he was only letting me waste money, in this case, $400 it cost for me to do the course required for the security licence.

I have actually attempted to sue him for damages, as I was promised full time work, and a wage of approximately $75,000 per annum, but have been told that, unfortunately, this isn't possible, as he was sneaky enough to put handlers down as "sub-contractors", which basically means he is under no obligation to supply work to anyone.

Anyway, as you can probably tell, I am not a fan of this man, and would not trust him as far as I could kick him.

George - lets not bull shit one another. Your buddy Kris is a thief. He is very lucky he lives in Australia and not the United States. He sends fools like you to this board to try and BS people.

He can dress up like a sheep but the bottom line is he is a thief and a liar and we see this all to often in the dog business.
