agreed on your last paragraph there duane . . . and ME recommends a LOT of solid reps before you put anything on cue . the dog learns ioo% the physical prompts the handler is giving , and then the verbal command is added just prior to the handlers' gesture .

I finally stumbled on a treat the Marco loves. He actually started offering behaviors for the first time with this new treat. However, I want to start teaching him to out a toy when we play tug but the instant he knows the treats are there he no longer has any interest in playing. He just wants to offer behaviors for the treat.
Kory, I betcha would would love this streaming video.
As noted for the very inexpensive Chapter One:
"During this chapter Michael talks about the fundamentals of training the OUT. While our third streaming chapter is 1 hour and 28 minutes and deals exclusively on training the OUT - in this chapter Michael covers the basics of his OUT program."

You can also find the entire lecture in one complete video on the first page of "Free Videos".
Oh, yes, that's right! I admit that I lean towards the "chapters" because of the sense of accomplishment and the natural divisions, but I'm sure that is NOT universal.
