2 Handle Bite Bar

Small and soft enough for younger dogs and strong enough to handle a full bite from older dogs
This is a very well constructed tool used in bite development. The bite bar is small enough and soft enough for younger, green dogs but also strong enough material to handle a full bite from an older dog.
This 2 Handle Jute Bite Bar is a softer, but firm bite bar. The Jute Bite Bar is 20 inches long and 11 inches wide. There are two hidden handles inside each end of the bite bar. The handles are covered with foam. There is a third handle added on the bite bar. This handle is located on the near side of the bar and is a stiffer, nylon handle. All of the stitching is reinforced. This bite bar is imported from Germany. Some people prefer a jute bite bar to a synthetic bite bar because they feel it is will last longer and hold up better against their dogs teeth.
Wow! Storm and I love this jute bite bar! Before I get into the details let me note that as soon as the flaps of the box were opened she dove in and attacked it (knowing full well it was for her). We have used Leerburg as a source for all our IPO and General dog training needs for years and as always, this product came quickly and is very high quality. I love the stiched in target so I can adjust and see how deep and centered her strikes are. The imbedded handles are wrapped in a comfortable foam material which makes taking the initial hit much more comfortable for the handler. All in all, wonderful training tool for an intermediate adult IPO dog or large puppy.

My dog's favorite piece of bite training equipment was the jute bite pillow. I just got this bite bar, and he went for it immediately. I like this better than the pillow because I can control it better than I can the pillow. Thanks for a great product and super customer service!

Absolutely love it. My GSD went for it immediately. My husband and I are using it as a reinforcement for paying more attention while heeling. If while heeling with one of us, she makes solid eye contact she gets to go "bite" the other one aka play tug and have a good time. Being able to play her new favorite game has done wonders with building reliability in her heel work.
