The mesh vest is no flimsy piece of mesh strapped over the dogs back. This Mesh K9 Vest is actually a vest your dog can work in. It is designed with heat, humidity, and water in mind. This is an excellent vest for water rescue dogs.
It is not restrictive to the dog because it has only 1 girth strap and the shoulders are cut high enough that the dog has excellent leg movement in this vest. The vest will stay in place and be functional as a highly visible tool when locating your dog.
This vest is made from three layers of various meshes for strength and stability. There is a reflective strip that runs over the back of the vest and on both sides. The front chest strap is heavy 1” webbing that is two way adjustable. The girth strap is heavy 2” with heavy 2” Velcro for an adjustable closure. The vest comes with a LED flashing light that can be turned on, off or flashing.
On top of the vest there is a heavy D-ring that is attached into the girth strap so you can attach your tracking line onto the vest itself.
This vest comes with two patches and we would be happy to attach your organizations patches above the S&R patches for free. This vest will fit a girth from 29 to 34 inches.

Review 1 on the "Mesh K9 Vest" May 8, 2009 Your mesh vest that Ed recommended is PERFECT. She is in the water all of the time searching and it does not have an effect on her at all. In fact, she gets excited when the vest comes out and knows the fun is about to start. I am very impressed with the quality of it. Even the little light is water proof as I have not had a problem with it. It tracks well and wears well. In a nut shell, please keep up the great job with mentoring and providing quality products for my partners because Bandit and I both appreciate it. Review 2 on the "Mesh K9 Vest" September 3, 2008 Good Day, I just received the mesh vest I ordered from you, and it is fantastic. I was worried it would be a cheaply made scrap of nothing. I was pleasantly surprised, it is extremely well made, and a perfectly fitting vest for my working dog. I am tired of people approaching us to PET my doberman bitch. This vest with the "Working dog -DO NOT TOUCH" actually stops SOME people. I should say MOST people. But, we all have met those people that no matter what you say, will declare that ALL dogs LOVE them, and your dog won't mind... Where do these people come from??? When I say NO YOU CAN'T TOUCH HER, they used to ignore me. I have had to resort to the 'NO she bites,' or even "NO she has a contagious skin condition." That usually works. Since we got this vest already I have seen a difference on our first walk. They are leaving us alone... Thank you. This vest is light and airy so she doesn't overheat, and again so well made and strong It is incredible. The fit is perfect it does not bind or rub anywhere, she acts like it isn't even there. She can run, jump, and like your last reviewer said she actually is sleeping in it right now as I write this review. Again, Thank you,

Review 3 on the "Mesh K9 Vest" Ed, There's a selling point you overlooked in promoting your SAR vest. The hard-working SAR dog can comfortably nap while wearing it onboard a Civil Air Patrol Cessna :). This picture was taken yesterday on the way from San Luis Obispo to Humboldt County to search for a missing autistic 8 year old who wandered away from a campground. Found alive while we were still in the air. My dog loves that vest. My only suggestion would be to add a Velcro or other holder to secure a chemical light stick along the spine for night searching. The light just doesn't quite do the trick. Best Wishes,
