Easy to Apply and Concentrated!
One pound covers approximately 2000 sq. feet!
Description: Millions of years ago, microscopic one-celled plants called Diatoms took minerals from the vast oceans and created shells for themselves. These shells became deposits in our sea beds and today provide us with the multi-useful powder, Diatomaceous Earth.
Today, there are over 1500 uses for the trace mineral-rich Diatomaceous Earth, insect control being its most notable. Bugs, such as fleas and ticks, do not have blood vessels, only a body cavity which contains their bodily fluids. Diatomaceous Earth causes them to dehydrate and die. They waxy coating found on many insects is also absorbed by Diatomaceous Earth. In addition, the microscopic, razor sharp mineral composition of Diatomaceous Earth pierces the waxy coating and the body cavity to allow more fluid to be absorbed more quickly. Safe for young or compromised pets.
Fleas and ticks: Be sure to brush Para*Clear down into carpet base while also applying to baseboards, cracks, pet's bedding (after washing in hot water) and under furniture.
Roaches and other grain bugs: Dust Para*Clear around food stuff and feed storage.
Flies: Apply directly to barn or stall walls, manure piles and compost.
Ant Hills: Dust a generous amount of Para*Clear directly on top and sire. Apply a radius of dust five feet from the mounds and reapply after it rains.
Garden and house plants bugs: The trace mineral-rich Para*Clear powder not only helps to fight sucking plant insects, but also enriches the soil. Safe to use around plants.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Keep out of the reach of children.
INTERNAL PARASITE CONTROL: Food grade diatomaceous earth makes a very effective natural insecticide. The insecticidal quality of diatomaceous earth is due to the razor sharp edges of the diatom remains. When diatomaceous earth comes in contact with the insects, the sharp edges lacerate the bugs waxy exoskeleton and then the powdery diatomaceous earth absorbs the body fluids causing death from dehydration.
Food grade diatomaceous earth has been used for at least two decades as a natural wormer for livestock. To be most effective, food grade diatomaceous earth must be fed long enough to catch all newly hatching eggs or cycling of the worms. A minimum of 60 days is suggested Food grade diatomaceous earth works in a purely physical/mechanical manner, not ‘chemical’ and thus has no chemical toxicity. Best yet, parasites don’t build up a tolerance/immunity to its chemical reaction, so rotation of wormers is unnecessary.
This is an all-natural powder that is of FDA food grade! It is safe if licked or ingest and is non-toix to pets, kids, or beneficial bugs. Para*Clear is cost-effective and a little goes a long way. Stock up now for the flea and tick season!
