Product Description

The Leerburg Nosework Scent Kit is a small portable training aid that allows you to train nosework anywhere anytime. Our kit contains all three target odors that people train nosework dogs to search for as well as everything else you will need to get started in nosework.

Each Leerburg Nosework Training Aid Kit contains a jar with 36 non-scented cotton swabs for each of the three common target odors, Birch, Anise and Clove ( "Sweet Birch" aka Betula Lenta, "Aniseed" aka Pimpinella anisum, "Clove Bud" aka Eugenia Caryophylatta or Syzgium Aromaticum). The kit also comes with 3 eye droppers filled with the liquid extract of the target odors so you can make additional cotton swab training aids in the future. Included as well, is a small aerated metal tin (colors may vary) that holds a scented cotton swab and a magnet that allows you to hide training aids on or under metal objects. This kit will last you many, many Nosework training sessions. The entire Leerburg Nosework Training Aid Kit is contained inside of a small waterproof, impact-resistant, hard plastic case that makes safely transporting all your Nosework training aids convenient and simple.

The content of the Aniseed vile may freeze during shipping. If this occurs the oil will change molecular state from a liquid to a powder. This is not damaged and it will return to its liquid form after it is given time to settle (approximately 1 – 2 days).

Sorry for the low rating as the kit is of high quality however I am a beginner and feel instruction on how to use the kit should have been included.

I purchased this kit for Nosework class for my two cairn terriers. The kit is very well made with a generous amount of the oils and materials. Also, a magnet is included which I don't recall reading in the description and is very helpful for using with hides. I would buy this kit again.

Nice kit for nosework.. If you are serious get a separate kit for each scent so the tin and droppers don't share scent.

This is a great kit. Exactly as advertised. I purchased it after noticing in classes that my instructor uses the same kit. Now, I can turn any place into a fun nosework training session for my dog. As a result, my 1 year old Malinois can complete container, interior, and exterior searches so quickly it's ridiculous.

Just received the kit, the packaging was well done, and the kit itself is top notch. The pelican box is fantastically rugged and survived a trip down concrete stairs without any of the glass oil bottles or glass cotton swab bottles having damage done.
