My dogs don't like this toy - THEY LOVE THIS TOY !!!!! It can be dangerous to your knees if you attempt to walk near them while they play with this. They grab one end of the rope and shake it like a pillow. I don't mean they just jerk it around they shake it like crazy - it makes me laugh when I watch them. When they are through shaking they lay it down and chomp the rubber ball and then go after the rope again.
Do your dog a big favor - give it a treat and bring one of these home. Then stand back and put your knee guards on.
In the summer time they float and make great beach toys. I don't recommend a lot of toys - but this is one of about 5 or 6 I think are worth your money.
This toy, like many other dog toys, if left with your dog for an extended (unsupervised) time period, will sustain damage. The dogs can (and probably will) tear up the rope and even tear through it. The ball can still be used with or without the rope. Even if the ball is punctured by your dogs teeth, it will not deflate.
No toy is 100%
indestructible. It is unrealistic to expect that from any
toy. The toys that

that we have found. Always supervise your dog when playing
with
toys. Periodically
inspect all toys for damage. Do not allow your dog to continue
to play with a damaged or broken toy.

Reveiw 1 for the "Romp-N-Roll" Our shepherd loved her first romp n'roll ball so much that when we would pack up the car to go to our vacation home in northern Wisconsin, she would place it next to our luggage. I guess she thought we shouldn't leave home without it. We donated that ball to a rescued shepherd at the Spooner animal shelter so our dog is need of a replacement. You have a great site! Kathleen |
