These collars are an effective way to keep dogs cool during hot days. Each one comes with one Kool Tube for use indoors. While outside, use ice cubes instead.

How to use

For outdoor use, fill the KoolCollar with ice. The melting ice will run down the front of the dog, which not only offers a comfortable cool sensation but also promotes evaporative cooling over the dog's chest. Evaporating water cools the blood and the core temperature of the dog.

For indoor use, use the KoolTube in the KoolCollar. The KoolTubes are a semi-disposable, non-toxic, and non-staining alternative to ice. It is perfect for use inside the house, traveling in a motor home, car, truck, etc. Each KoolTube usually lasts about 30 - 50 minutes depending on the ambient temperature, the dog's body heat, and activity level. By purchasing KoolTube refills, you can cycle tubes from the freezer to the collar for continued use.

Sizing

Small will fit most small breeds, including: Pugs, Terriers, French Bulldogs, Beagles, Small Poodles, Shih Tzus, Miniatures, Dachshunds, and Spaniels.

Medium will fit most working class breeds up to 80 lbs, including: Retrievers, Danes, Huskies, German Shepherds, Most Bulldogs, Boxers, Standard Poodles, and Weimaraners.

Large will fit most large breeds, including: Large Retrievers, Mastiffs, Rottweilers, Newfoundlands, Large Bulldogs, St. Bernards, and Mountain Dogs.

Notes

Freezer tubes are understood to be "semi-disposable". Should a freezer tube fail upon initial shipment to retailer KoolCollar will warrantee the failed items within five days of delivery. As this product is worn by dogs and is likely to be scraped, bitten, or chewed, KoolCollar can't be responsible for failed tubes after the customer has taken possession of the product. "Special Circumstance" replacements on a case by case basis. As the KoolCollar is usually saturated by water and constantly subjected to wear and tear, it is expected that the screen printing will wear. Flaking is not an indication of product failure and does not affect the collar’s performance in any way.
