I use this harness for night training with my off-leash SAR dog. It's the best light source I've found yet (and I have a collection). It's very bright and has a long battery life. I also use a lighted collar as a backup - I always have 2 light sources on my dog in case something goes wrong with one of them.

I purchased an earlier model of this harness in June, 2016. I have used it daily since. I have a black dog and we live in a very rural area with no outdoor lighting. This harness is great for our night walks. After 16 months of daily use, the batteries are still strong. In the summer I only charge it once a month. During the darker months I charge it every couple weeks.
