  1. Is it possible to get a one fourth inch wide leash with light hardware for a small breed dog?

  2. I am looking for a 6-10 ft leash (preferably leather) that is not hand held. I need a leash for hiking which leaves my hands free for grasping and crawling rocks. Do you have any suggestions?

  3. Is the Ultra Light Weight Trainers Vest meant to attach dogs to?

1. Question:

Hi,

Is it possible to get a one fourth inch wide leash with light hardware for a small breed dog?

I have had your leashes in the past for my German Shepherd but now have a Maltese and would like the same quality leather leash reasonable however for an eight pound dog.

Thanks,
Sherri

Answer:

Our smallest leash is the puppy leash,  it’s 3/8” and works well for puppies or small breeds. We don’t offer anything smaller.

2. Question:

I am looking for a 6-10 ft leash (preferably leather) that is not hand held. I need a leash for hiking which leaves my hands free for grasping and crawling rocks. However, my state is very strict about leash laws. Do you have any suggestions?? I saw your police officer leash, but it doesn't look very long.

Please help.

Thank you,
Tanya

Answer:

We carry the Buddy System leash which is made specifically for hands free activities. There is a “bungee” type attachment you can purchase to add shock absorption. I use this when walking both my dogs on the local bike trail.

If you specifically want leather, then I would probably just suggest getting a belt of some sort (or a belt leash)and threading it through the handle of our 10 foot long leather leash.

3. Question:

Would you tell me if the Ultra Light Weight Trainers Vest is meant to attach the dog or dogs to the vest around my waist? I have two large dogs and it is difficult for me to walk them together. If this is not the correct item, do you know of a product such as this?

Thanks,
Lisa

Answer:

No, the vests are not designed to hook dogs to. They are for carrying all your stuff (treats, toys, leash, etc).

If you are looking for a way to safely connect both of your dogs to you I would suggest the Buddy system.

I hope this helps.
