We purchased this for our German shepherd. It works great for both leisurely walks or long line work. It's strong yet sturdy and comfortable in my hand. I can get a good grip if she decides to take a run after a rabbit! On our evening walks, it's nice to give her a little room to explore. We purchased the 18 foot line and it's the only line we use. Highly recommend the it!

I recently received a 10' tracking line and I love it! It is excellent quality, heavy duty yet not too heavy or stiff. I live in a rocky, rainy , muddy area and so far this is holding up great. I got the pink one and I love how great it stands out when my dog and I are in the jungle bush. I plan to purchase a longer one in the future.
