A friend of mine who works in a vet's office recommended this brand and model when I asked her what is the best option? She has been using them for 20 years, through out her entire career. They have worked out great for us. We have a Boxer, a Weimaraner and a Beagle. They all have large nails and these cut with no problem.

Hands down this is the best nail clipper to be found. I've had mine for 6 years and it's still sharp and in perfect shape. One of my dogs has really hard nails, this clipped goes through them with ease.
