Our rat training tube is designed to hold and transport a rat during training. It has aerated ends and sides walls to provide excellent of airflow for the rat.

We have gone through several versions of our rat tubes. In the latest version, we have increased the thickness of the sidewall in addition to the length of the inside of tube. When laying flat on cement our latest tube will easily supports a 200 plus pound man who is standing on the tube

There are many many different types and brands of 3D filament. The average person is not aware of this. In addition, many types are not appropriate or safe to be used with animals. We do not use those types of filament. The type we use (Heavy Duty PetG Pro filament) is 100% safe for animals.

Not only is Heavy Duty PetG Pro filament safe with animals, it is also very strong. Our current model tubes will easily support a 200 pound man who is standing or even bouncing on our rat tuubes.

In 2020 Leerburg built our 3D lab, since then we have done a great deal of research on the topic of 3D filament. We have learned a lot about product design and filament since then. That is how we got to the point of using Heavy-duty PETG Pro material

Unfortunately there are people on social media who, for one reason or another (which I will go into later) who are spreading false information about our 3D rat tubes.

Leerburg is not associated with the Barn Hunt Organization ™. We have used the Barn Hunt ™ specification to make our tubes, we are not endorsed by the Barn Hunt Organization ™

The owner of the Barn Hunt ™ organization does not believe that 3-D printed material can be strong enough to be used to make rat tubes. We respectfully disagree, the fact is she is wrong. She has not done the research.
