Themed Photo Contest: Leerburg Muzzles

Leerburg is excited to launch a photo contest celebrating responsible dog ownership! We're asking our customers to share photos of their dogs wearing Leerburg muzzles and tell us their stories. This is a chance to showcase the positive role muzzles play in training, safety, and everyday life. Submit of a photo of your dog wearing a Leerburg muzzle to enter. All types of muzzles can be used, as long as the muzzle was purchased from Leerburg.

Why We're Doing This: Muzzles are an important tool for training and safety, yet they're often misunderstood. Your stories help educate the dog training community about responsible muzzle use and celebrate the work you're doing with your dogs. We look forward to seeing your dogs, as well a wide range of unique and interesting photo ideas!

How To Enter

1. Take a Photo – Capture your dog wearing a Leerburg muzzle. Photos can be candid, action shots, or posed portraits. Get creative!

2. (Optional) Write a Short Blurb – Include a brief description with:

Your dog's name and breed
How long they've been using their Leerburg muzzle
Why your dog wears a muzzle (e.g. training, reactivity management, safety, public access preparation, etc.)

3. Submit Your Entry – Upload and submit your photo using our photo contest uploader. Photos will appear in the gallery once they are approved.

Submissions are due by midnight on Tuesday, June 30th, 2026.

Winner(s) will be announced in our newsletter after Wednesday, July 15th, 2026.

Contest Rules

Your dog(s) or the dog's activities should be the primary subject of the photo. Other animals and people are allowed, but should not be the main focus of the photo. (E.G. A decoy in a bitework photo is fine, but photos of other people that also include a dog will likely not be considered if the dog is not a vital part of the photo.)
Any prominently featured products or equipment (such as a vest or harness) should be from Leerburg or an affiliated brand (I.E. products available on our website). Photos featuring competitor brands or items will not be eligible.
Be original! We love to see your dogs, but we encourage everyone to submit new photos and fresh ideas rather than re-using the same photos or copying a previous year's winner.
Photos should be high resolution, full-sized digital image files containing the actual photo, not a screenshot or thumbnail. (No icons should be visible if you are uploading a photo from your smartphone.)
Photos should be the sole property of the submitter, who must have permission to use the photo. Please do not send photos that may be copyright protected from a photographer or "found" on the internet.
Photos cannot contain watermarks or logos, and photos promoting or advertising another company or business will not be accepted.
Limit 2 photos per person. If you upload more than two photos, we will assume the most recently submitted photos are intended for use or choose two we like unless you contact us and specify otherwise. You can also contact us if you'd like to change the photo's description or correct an error.
Photos must be submitted on or before 11:59 pm on Tuesday, June 30th, 2026 to qualify. Leerburg reserves the right to use all materials submitted to this contest on our website, social media, marketing materials, and promotional content.
