Product Description

The Heeler's Toolbox is a series of dvds with a comprehensive curriculum focusing on beginner, intermediate, and advanced obedience skills and techniques essential to any competitive obedience team. The first dvd in this 3-part series (Beginner) exposes students to groundwork skills and behaviors fundamental to the heeling relationship as well as core concepts necessary for preparation to more advanced stages of the training program. I have been a huge fan of Forrest for some time now. He is an awesome trainer who not only is proficient in his training skills, but also possesses the ability to relate and communicate these skills to his viewers. I audited all three HT courses and couldn't have been more impressed and pleased with the well-thought-out detailed information and presentation of the material. I would like to thank Forrest and Leerburg for making the HT1 DVD available for purchase, as it will be a welcome addition to my DVD library. I can hardly wait for the release of the HT2 and 3.

I was fortunate to have the opportunity to attend one of Forrest's seminars in Wisconsin last year, and my club will be hosting one of his seminars in July of this year, which I am eagerly awaiting. Forrest is a truly genuine individual with the skill and ability to portray ideas and techniques clearly and concisely. I highly recommend him to anyone wishing to improve their heeling.

I took the first two Heeler classes with Forrest as interactive and on the third class I couldn't do interactive so I did audit. I can't say enough about all three classes, I plan on going back to do the third class as interactive once my new puppy gets to that point. You can't go wrong with taking the classes, then having the DVD keeping things on track is icing on the cake. I don't have internet at home so I REALLY appreciate that Leerburg still produces DVD's for people like me out in the boondocks.

I am a huge fan of Michael Ellis, but when it comes to teaching heeling techniques, I think that Forrest has surpassed the master. Great information and tons of ideas that turns heeling into playtime and not a just a boring routine for dog and handler. Needless to say I can't wait for Heeler's Toolbox II to come out in streaming. Awesome job!

I'm getting tons of information I can apply from the 'Heeling tool box' DVD. its just amazing and the camera work is excellent. I only train using +R technique and the exercises and games deployed in this video are priceless.
