Recommendations
Leerburg recommends adding an additional 2 inches to sleeve measurements to allow for room to tuck hands up in the sleeves. This helps to avoid dog bites to the hands.
Suit Care
After using your suit it is recommended that you hang the suit in a WARM, DRY LOCATION. The more air flow you can get to the inside of the suit, the better. This will maintain the flexibility and life of your bite suit.
Once a suit is dry, it is recommended to brush any dirt off the suit with a stiff brush.
Some people will dry clean or wash a suit. Doing so will actually put dirt inside the suit. The more a suit is washed the less protective it becomes.
A Note from Ed Frawley
I have been around body bite suits since 1985 and I have never seen a suit that comes close to the quality of these Bite Suits. There are cheaper suits on the market, but when you're faced with an 85 pound adult Malinois, that's a very serious dog, skimping on the protection offered in a suit is not where you want to save money.
