We are excited to present a new seminar with Marko and Sarah that will focus on all disciplines of competition obedience and IGP Protection. Whether you're a seasoned competitor or looking to venture into the world of IGP or competition obedience, this event will be a valuable learning experience.

To avoid confusion, this is a seminar for dog trainers to expand their skills and education. There will be a daily presentation and dog work to demonstrate different concepts relevant to all students.

**** This event differs from a workshop where dog & handler teams are working 2 or more sessions each day with their personal dog to get ready for a trial or work through issues. ****

We will need multiple dog/handler teams each day to help illustrate the concepts and exercises that Marko and Sarah will be presenting. These working spots will be filled via an informal video audition with details provided after you register. If you have attended other Leerburg events in the past, you will already be familiar with this process. Have fun with it!

IMPORTANT! Please read: The seminar is non-refundable and non-transferable. Please register only if you're 100% committed to attending, regardless if you receive a working spot or not.

There will be no discounts for auditing-only participants. The seminar fee applies uniformly to all attendees, regardless of participation level.

Interested in a Working Spot?

We will need approximately 5 protection dogs and 4 obedience dogs for each day. If you are interested in working your dog for the seminar, please read the following:

1. Interested participants MUST send an audition video—no exceptions.
2. In order to submit an audition video, interested participants MUST register for the seminar first. Working spots are not guaranteed. The seminar is non-refundable. Please register only if you're 100% committed to attending, regardless if you receive a working spot or not.
3. After registration, you will receive information via email on how to submit your audition video.
4. Please keep audition videos less than 3 minutes.
5. Working spots will be selected based on relevance to the information being presented.
6. Deadline for submitting an audition video is May 15, 2024 at 11:59pm CT
7. Individuals who have received a working spot will be notified via email on May 22, 2024.

Audition Video Suggestions

Not sure what to send in? Below are just a few suggestions. Feel free to do something different so long as you keep it under 3 minutes.

• Short session with your helper
• Show some barking
• Play with the handler using a wedge/pillow
• Demonstrate biting and outs

• Showcase a regular training session with your dog
• Highlight your dog's motivation for rewards (both food and toys)
