Product Description

Leerburg’s BioThane Long Lines are 3/8 inch wide. Our hardware (Snap and Ring) is the finest stainless steel that we can buy.

Our stainless steel hardware cannot be compared to the chrome hardware (which will rust) on competition lines.

Our BioThane has a tensile strength of 375 lbs. It is lighter and stronger than leather. We had our Amish harness makers attach a BioThane line and a leather line to their draft horses. The leather broke before the BioThane in three different tests. Click here to watch the video.

BioThane (unlike leather) is not affected by rain or getting wet.

These lines are 8' long and 3/8" wide, making them perfect for use in Scent Work, obedience, hiking, or other dog sports. This line can get wet and is great for training. It is lighter than leather lines, and is very soft and very pliable. Made with a high quality stainless steel snap.

The absolute best drag line I have ever used. Can't recommend enough. It's strong, stays dry, stays clean. Whips around trees and seldom if ever snags! This line allows freedom but also a measure of safety while training a puppy. After years of using clothesline and cotton leashes, this is like a dream come true. Only two things-puppy likes to chew it-be vigilant. Also, wish it came in two sizes, would like a 20' also. Neon color would also be a plus. Fantastic line, highly recommend.

nice lightweight line with multiple uses. I walk my small dog daily with this leash. It can be a bit slippery when wet but I won't deduct a star for that. The reviewer that complained because her dog chewed through it, well... it's the nature of a dog! I would not blame the product for this.

This is my go-to line for leash training puppies and my everyday leash for small dogs. It's lightweight and a perfect length for potty training pups or working on obedience with client dogs.

I ordered this after watching the video with the horse pulling a cart and I believe it advertised indestructible. My 6 month old puppy chewed right through it.

Admin: the BioThane leashes are strong and resist breakage but these leashes are not advertised as chew proof or indestructible.
