The 1/8" Small Dog 12 ft. Nylon Leash is made specifically for puppies but is also great to use with small dogs as well. Made out of nylon cord with a brass snap, this leash has a handle at the end. This makes it easy to loop on the leg of a desk or bed to make sure you can keep an eye on your pup.

We love using this 12ft. Nylon Leash to housetrain our puppies. It takes a puppy being out of sight for 10 seconds for you to realize they've snuck to a corner to relieve themselves. With the leash being at 12 feet, our puppy has a little more freedom to explore while still being in our line of sight. Never leave a tethered dog (especially a puppy) unsupervised!

Absolutely love this. Perfect for toy breeds. Slender with a sturdy but lightweight clasp. My only complaint is I want a longer one too, like 24 ft! :)

This is a great lead for puppy’s and small dogs.
I use it as a long line for my 15lb cavalier King Charles with a micro prong collar. I will also be using for my French ring German Shepherd puppy.

Purchased this for nose work for my 15lb mixed breed dog. Love it!!! It's probably too light for someone with large hands, especially as the snap is fairly tiny as well, but it's perfect for our needs. Only complaint is that we need more color options please!!! :)

Actually, I tried this leash out with a choke prong collar with my full grown Bouvier des Flanders, and it lets her run and I can still control her need be a rabbit runs out from nowhere. I highly recommend it. Will buy another. It's a well made leash and good enough for larger obedience trained dogs as well.

It may seem a little weird that I own the business and write a review - but my pup (Rosie) and I are the reason Leerburg is having these leashes made. Rosie is 10 months old and has never been off leash. She is on leash in the house, she is on leash when I take her outside.

It didn't take me long to determine that a 4 ft or 6 ft leash was too short. So I tied two 6 footers together and have heard my staff kid me for months about my ugly little leash. Six feet is simply too short to take a puppy or small dog outside to pee and poop. A 6 footer is also to short to tether Rosie when I am sitting in the house. I need more leash options and a 12 foot leash offers that.

Do you know how long it takes a puppy to sneak around the corner and pee or poop? About 10 seconds. If you don't tether your pup you will quickly figure this out.
