Use the XDOG Sand Vest to improve your dog's health. Whether you are trying to shave off extra weight or improve speed and endurance for dog sports, the Sand Vest is great to use for all breeds. We recommend using the Sand Vest for walking, training, alleviating anxiety, playtime, and more.

Place your weights in the 2 pockets around the front shoulder and 6 pockets located on the left and right backside. Empty weight bags are included and can be filled with sand to add weight. The inside of the vest has 2 zippered mesh pockets for placing cooling and warming gel packs (also included, see below). With sturdy buckles and adjustable straps, you can be assured this vest won't accidentally fall off during use.

When you order the XDOG Sand Vest, you'll also receive the following items:

• 8 Empty Weight Bags: These empty weight bags can be filled with sand. Once filled, you can place these weight bags into the pockets of the Sand Vest. When you first start training with the Sand Vest, you can choose to fill the weight bags with less sand so that your dog can easily acclimate to the weight of the vest. (Sand NOT included.)
• 1 Collapsible Water Bowl: It's important that your dog remains hydrated when you use the Sand Vest. The collapsible water bowl comes with a carabiner that can easily clip onto your belt loop, training vest, or backpack. Don't forget to bring some water with you!
• 1 Cooling Pack & 1 Warming Pack: These Cooling and Warming gel packs allow you to use the vest year-round. Simply place them in the mesh zipper pockets located on the inside of the Sand Vest.
• 1 Drawstring Bag: Easily carry the vest, weights, water bowl, and gel packs in this bag.

The XDOG Sand Vest is compatible with several XDOG accessories. Level up your dog's workout with these items: Performance Parachute, Drag Bag, and Resistance Band.

Important

The D-ring located on the rear center of the vest is only meant for XDOG accessory use. Do NOT clip your leash to this D-ring. We recommend you clip your leash to a collar or a harness worn beneath the vest.

Your dog should be examined by a veterinary healthcare professional before starting any type of exercise or weight training routine.

Dogs should be supervised at all times while wearing the Sand Vest. Do not use the Sand Vest in high temperatures. Dogs who engage in strenuous activities during high temperatures may get heat stroke. Ensure that your dog has been hydrated at least 30 minutes prior to using the vest and has access to plenty of water during exercise. Keep in a safe place out of your dog's reach as they can chew on the vest and swallow parts that can be potentially dangerous. The Sand Vest is recommended to be used with weights on adult dogs ONLY (approximately 12 months and older). We do not suggest adding weights on dogs under 12 months of age, but the vest alone can be used on puppies as a harness. Do not use the Sand Vest on pregnant dogs or dogs with injuries.
