I have an older dog who has struggled with anal gland issues over the last year or so. He's on a raw diet and gets probiotics daily but was still having issues. The vet kept suggesting antibiotics which I didn't want to do long term so I tried these Butt Bars. My family thinks the name is hilarious btw. After a few weeks, I noticed our dog was much more comfortable and spending less time chewing and licking at his backside. He's about 60 pounds so he gets 1/4 of a bar in the morning and 1/4 at night. He likes the taste, he thinks he's getting a treat the other dogs don't so even though these things aren't cheap it's better for him and less expensive than keeping him on antibiotics for extended periods of time.
