Here is more info on Catherine and the seminar itself:
In 1991, Catherine O'Driscoll's four-year-old Golden Retriever Oliver suddenly died. No veterinarians were able to give an explanation until two years later; a homoeopathic vet suggested that Oliver may have had a vaccine reaction.
Prudence, Oliver's litter mate, then died of leukemia and, once again, Catherine was informed of a vaccine link. Like any grieving mom, Catherine was heartbroken and resolved to research and share her knowledge with other dog lovers so that they wouldn't have to go through the same tragedy and experience.
Catherine formed Canine Health Concern, an international group of dog lovers and animal healthcare practitioners, to research the cause of ill health in the modern dog. Always, the trail kept coming back to over-vaccination and biologically inappropriate pet food. Canine Health Concern seeks to educate dog lovers about natural diets and complementary healthcare options.
In 1997, Catherine published the best-selling book 'What Vets Don't Tell You About Vaccines'. She presents research that ties vaccines with diseases such as arthritis, diabetes, epilepsy, allergies, cancer, leukemia, behavioural problems, organ failure, skin problems and a range of immune-mediated diseases.
For the last ten years Catherine O'Driscoll has campaigned tirelessly to change the vaccination protocol of companion animals. Her work has been featured in a prime time TV documentary and she has prompted the British government to look into canine and feline vaccination practices.
Catherine lives with two non-vaccinated six-year-old Golden Retrievers who are protected homeopathically. She feels their vibrant good health can be attributed to her chosen path of treatments, food choices and minimum pharmaceutical intervention
