I opened this topic for just one comment - Tammy, I hope ya'll get your dog back. Reading your site it certainly appears that you are completely in the right about this and the buyers were unethical, to say the least.
I hope people take the time to read the conversations between you and the buyers, it speaks volumes about their business ethics.
And I'd encourage to open this topic to inform and warn more people, but that's your choice, of course.
Those folks would most definately go on my list of "kennels to avoid like the plague". <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />
I wish you good luck in this matter, hope it comes out for the best for you and the dog!

Thank you Will for your very supportive reply.
Thanks moderators for unlocking this post.
Thanks to everyone who has emailed me privately with many words of support! It's extremely comforting to know there are more good people than bad out there in the dog world!
To date, I've heard nothing more of Draco. Please keep your eyes and ears open for him.
Tammy-
I read the messages, but I don't understand the whole story that well, maybe I need to read it again, more details my come to light.
The part that I am most confused about is, he paid for the dog, he recieved the dog, why shouldn't he keep the dog? I think you complaint was that he wasn't keeping the dog and infact he sold the dog, this is where the problem lies with you? So if he didn't sell the dog, things would be fine?
I live in Ohio, not too far from that address he provided, if there is anything I can to help you out, maybe I could.
You could take this matter to court right?
Keep us posted, I'm really intersted to know what happens next!
From the posts on your website, it seems apparent that they have no intention of respecting your demands or inquiries regarding this dog. I have not read the entire sales agreement you referenced on your website. However, if you have written documents to support your position that the third-party transfer of the animal is in breach of the terms of the agreement, and the agreement provides for specific remedies in the event of breach, then you need to contact an attorney and pursue those specific remedies. In fact, I'd say you should contact an attorney no matter what-let him/her advise you, and do so with the benefit of experience in such matters in your jurisdiction.
I can't give you any substantive legal advice because I don't know the law of your jurisdiction, and I'm not licensed there. But I don't need a license to tell you to contact someone and get this thing moving before the trail gets any colder. Sometimes contact initiated by an attorney will result in the guy contacting his own attorney, who will then advise him of the cost of defending a suit with a meritorious basis.
I hope you get your dog back.
