Product Description
This Two-Piece Backpack Harness is very durable, made from Denier Poly Duck fabric with double-sewn seams and lined with quilted fabric for your dogs comfort. The quilted fabric lets the dog’s skin breathe better. There is no slippery vinyl on the underside of the backpack so it won't slide on the dogs back.
The outside layer of the backpack is removable. This will allow the bottom layer of the backpack, when used alone, to be worn as a harness. The two layers are attached to each other with velcro which makes them secure while in use but also easy to remove. The backpack is 10" by 13" and 3" deep.
Cleaning Instructions: Machine wash with cool water and like colors. Line dry.

Ensure you don't put too much weight in the pack (≤ 10% of the dog's weight), that the weight is balanced, and that the dog is accustom to carrying a load. These saddle bags are inappropriate for running great distances as they are designed to break away pefore the dog gets fouled in them.
I sent Jäger back to the creator last April and will be purchasing a new set for Berlin as he comes into service from training.
