Indications:
Like any athlete, time and stress take a toll on the body of the active dog. The depletion of the dog's natural level of fluids can lead to fatigue, lethargy and decreased performance.
Herbsmith Athlete is a combination of herbs used to balance the high energy, athletic dog. Rather than providing a short-lived boost of energy, like an energy drink, Herbsmith Athlete replenishes the fluids of the body allowing the dog to maintain peak performance, like a sports drink. Herbsmith Athlete makes the dog as balanced as possible allowing the canine athlete to perform to the fullest.
Chinese Theory:
By nature the athletic dog is yang, which is exhibited as active, outward or energetic behavior with high levels of running and movement. This excess of yang can burn of the body's yin, or fluids. Herbsmith Athlete is a yin tonic that nourishes the blood and rebalances the dog's level of yin and yang. The result is improved energy, stamina and overall level of health.
Because of its yin-tonifying properties, Herbsmith Athlete is an effective means of prevention against negative effects of yin depletion, such as allergies and anxiety. In addition, the herbs in Herbsmith Athlete have blood-moving properties that provide instant relief in the case of a minor injury due to a fall, a collision with an obstacle or rough play with another dog.
