Cloth Muzzle
These Cloth Muzzles are perfect for Grooming, Training, and Treating your dog. They are made of a durable, washable nylon fabric. The buckle for the muzzles is a quick release buckle; simply pinch to open.
This style of cloth muzzles have been a favorite of Groomers, Veterinarians and Dog Handlers for years! Our kennel manager, Cindy, used these same muzzles in her grooming business before coming to Leerburg.
By using the cloth muzzle you will reduce the risk of dog bites while still allowing your dog to be secure and comfortable.
- The Standard Cloth Muzzle is designed to fit average-snouted dogs ranging in size from Chihuahuas to Giant Mastiffs.
- The Chow & Short-Snouted Cloth Muzzle is designed to fit Chows and other short-snouted breeds.
- The Pug-Nosed Cloth Muzzle is designed to fit any of the pug-nosed breeds such as a Pug, Boston Terrier, Pekingese and Lhasa Apso.
- The Long-Snouted Cloth Muzzle is designed to fit thin, long-snouted dogs such as Collies, Shelties and Greyhounds.

These Cloth Muzzles are designed for short-term use. They should be used as a temporary restraint only! Use only with direct supervision and never leave your pet unattended while wearing a Cloth Muzzle. Failure to do so could result in inhibiting the dog's panting (it's natural cooling mechanism) producing a life threatening situation. You should also be aware that most dogs can still bite while wearing an open-faced muzzle. Dogs wearing a Cloth Muzzle cannot pant or drink water while wearing them. I am an Animal Control Officer and currently am citing a person that leaves this muzzle on a dog 24/7 to try to stop a barking problem.

Good Morning, My name is madison and I'm contacting you on behalf of Pawcassos & Seaside grooming. We recently received a set of cloth muzzles from pet edge and found the quality of the nylon and snap so poor as to make it dangerous. Our head groomer sustained what would have been a serious bite if not for the arm protection she was wearing when the cheap nylon strap slid out of the buckle on an irate huskey. We are wondering how your cloth grooming muzzles are designed to prevent the sliding of the strap and buckle. Older muzzles we have found have a thicker woven strap so as to prevent any sliding and ensure a secure fit. I personally have purchased some of your working dog muzzles for my clients' dogs and found their quality to be superb. We would love to purchase some of your cloth muzzles if they are made with the same amount of care to detail and saftey as your working dog muzzles. it would be most helpful if you could possibly send us a sample of the strap and buckle that you use so we can test their efficency. To my knowledge there is only one supplier of cloth muzzles. I may be wrong. Since I don’t know what yours look like I can only guess. I have never been a fan of cloth muzzles. They have a very limited use. Your case is an example. If I had to do this job I would be using the Jafco muzzles we sell. They are easily cleaned and come in a ton of sizes. |
