Simple, soft, and built for play, the Braided Fleece Tug is a favorite for puppies and young dogs just learning to tug. The plush fleece is gentle on developing teeth and gums, while the tight braid gives dogs a satisfying grip and holds up to enthusiastic pulling. It's an ideal tool for building drive, engagement, and confidence, and it doubles as a high-value reward during training. Each tug is braided by hand at Leerburg in Wisconsin, so colors and patterns will vary from tug to tug.

This tug is braided to be approximately 18” from knot to knot.

Hand wash in warm water with a mild, pet-safe soap, working the suds into the braids. Rinse thoroughly, squeeze out excess water, and hang to air dry completely before storing. Avoid bleach, harsh chemicals, and machine drying, as high heat can damage fleece fibers. Store in a dry place out of your dog's reach between sessions.

Inspect your tug before and after each session. It's time to replace it if you notice:

• Fraying, loose strands, or braids beginning to unravel
• Holes, tears, or pieces of fleece missing
• Lingering odor or staining that won't wash out

If your dog swallows any piece of fleece, stop using the tug right away and contact your veterinarian if you have concerns.

This tug is intended for active, supervised training sessions only. It is not designed to be used as a chew toy and should be put away when training is complete. As with all dog training equipment, use under supervision and inspect regularly for signs of wear or damage.
