Product Description

Give your puppy or young dog a tug they'll love to chase and grab. This Fleece Tug with Ball pairs a soft, braided fleece rope with a 4.5" honeycomb roller ball, making it a great tool for building drive, engagement, and a strong grip in small and young dogs. The fleece is gentle on developing mouths, while the ball adds bounce and movement that keeps dogs focused and excited during play. Each rope is braided by hand at Leerburg in Wisconsin from three pieces of fleece, so colors and patterns will vary from tug to tug.

Care

To keep your tug clean and in good shape, hand wash it in warm water with a mild, pet-safe soap, working the suds into the braids and around the ball. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue, then squeeze out excess water and hang the tug to air dry completely before storing. Avoid bleach, harsh chemicals, and machine drying, as high heat can damage fleece fibers. Store the tug in a dry place out of your dog's reach between sessions, which keeps it clean and helps it stay special as a training reward.

This tug is intended for active, supervised training sessions only. It is not designed to be used as a chew toy and should be put away when training is complete. As with all dog training equipment, use under supervision and inspect regularly for signs of wear or damage.

Inspect your tug before and after each session. It's time to replace it if you notice:

• Fraying, loose strands, or braids beginning to unravel
• Holes, tears, or pieces of fleece missing
• Cracks, splits, or chunks missing from the ball
• The ball loosening or shifting on the rope
• Lingering odor or staining that won't wash out

If your dog swallows any piece of fleece or ball, stop using the tug right away and contact your veterinarian if you have concerns.
