Product Description

This kit was designed for two dogs to train in scent work at the same time. Some dogs learn to hit on the odor of the previous dog, and this kit allows trainers to put out more FINDS, which allows dogs to search sterile odors without hitting on dog slobber left by another dog.

The kit contains 10 odor boxes; nine of these boxes are black and have earth magnets embedded into the box. The 10th box is green with no magnet. The green box should be used as a sterile box that has never has odor in it to be used for proofing purposes.

This kit allows trainers to put out 9 finds. We do offer Multi Odor box kit for various sports.

The odor boxes can be cleaned with warm soap and water.

• Birch – Betula lenta
• Anise – Pimpinella anisum
• Clove – Eugenia caryophyllata
• Cypress - Cupressus sempervirens

These odors are introduced progressively through the levels of competition, and all should be pure, single-source essential oils—never blended or synthetic.

The sport is designed to showcase a dog’s natural scenting ability while promoting teamwork, focus, and confidence. In this sport, dogs must locate target odors in Container Search, Interior Search, Exterior Search, Buried Search, and Handler Discrimination. AKC Scent work is open to all dog breeds and tests both scent detection and obedience to the handler.
