This kit was designed for two dogs to train scent work together without worrying about cross-contamination. Some dogs learn to hit on the odor of the previous dog and this kit prevents that. It has 10 odor boxes, nine of these boxes are black and have earth magnets embedded into the box. The 10th box is green with no magnet. The green box can be used as a proofing box.

The purpose of the proofing box is to hide it without any odor, so it is a sterile box, to teach the dog not to indicate on the odor box itself but rather just the odors that are put in the box.

This kit allows for training scenarios in which trainers can put out 9 finds for their dogs to locate. We do offer 5 odor box kit. The issue with people running multiple dogs through the same finds is we run the risk of the dogs indicating on the odor from previous dogs.

The odor boxes can be cleaned with warm water and soap. You can also clean them using a dishwasher if they are put on the top shelf inside the dishwasher.
