This proofing kit is meant to be used with K9 trainers who are using Leerburg's Cadaver, Narcotics, or Explosive training kit. The proofing kit is identical to the actual training kit's except that it does not have any Getxent tubes, where as the training kits each have 4 Getxent tubes.

Trainers need to proof their dog off of the scent of odor boxes, glass drams, metal containers that have been used to hold impregnated Getxent tubes. That is accomplished by hiding the items in this kit that are identical to the training kits but have never come in contact with the odors the dogs are being trained to find.

K9 trainers need to document the use of these items in their training records.
