This Getxent training kit is designed to be used during the foundation training of explosives detection dogs.

Leerburg's Getxent Explosives Detection Dog Training Kit provides everything you need to begin foundation training for explosives detection dogs. This comprehensive system uses Getxent polymer tubes that trainers impregnate with target odors, creating a safe, controlled training environment.

It comes with a variety of items including 4 Getxent polymer tubes. The tubes have not been impregnated with odor. That will be the job of the trainer.

The kit contains the following:

• 4 Glass 5ML bottle that contain a sterile Getxent tube
• A tweezer used to handle the Getxent polymer tubes
• 4 Magnetic odor boxes that hold Getxent tubes
• 2 Metal training tins that have earth magnets attached (color may vary)
• 1 round Metal tin that can hold a Getxent tube
• The magnets used on the odor boxes and metal tins are Earth Magnets

Getxent tubes should be stored in a cool place, ideally 0 to 25°C (32-77°F), without exceeding -30 to +50°C (-22 to 122°F).

Can I reuse a concentrated Getxent tube? Unfortunately, Getxent tubes that have already absorbed an odor cannot be reused, even with the same target odor.
