Leerburg's Skunk Cocktail - How to De-skunk Your Dog

If your dog gets skunked, try our simple and inexpensive DIY skunk cocktail. You can get all of these items at your local grocery store.

Ingredients

  • 1 quart - 3% hydrogen peroxide
  • 1/4 cup - baking soda
  • 1 tsp - Dawn dish soap (use Original Scent)

Directions

  1. Mix ingredients together.
  2. Use like a shampoo. Work into the dog's coat thoroughly but be careful of the dog's eyes. Use a wash cloth around the eyes.
  3. Rinse thoroughly.

This works great and is really cheap to make. One application de-skunked a dog hit at point blank range.
