I guess to save the nutcase on this board from having their dog shot <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
You previously started another thread that was closed by Ed regarding a dog that was shot and killed by Police Officers acting in official capacity. I haven't quite figured out your reason for making such posts or your exact opinions on the articles in question (although I think I have a *pretty* good idea of what your opinions may be), but I hope this doesn't become a cop bashing habit on your part, as your postings/opinions are bordering on being Trollish.
Yea Kristen, and two police officers in a neighboring town were recently shot and killed after being called to a home for domestic disturbance. One had been in law-enforcment for over 25yrs, he had a wife and three teenaged children. The other was 22yrs old and had recently returned to work after taking time off due to the death of his child. Need I say more.........
I have a relative in law enforcement. It is a bit disconcerting when I hear people suggesting that LEOs are too quick to use force. (I sincerely hope that was not your intent, it is hard to gather from your post.) It is sad that the dog had to die, but the person should be put first any day.
