I know this is a dumb question but what is the difference between a fur saver collar and a choke collar. I know the fur saver is supposed to do exactly what the name implies, it is less harsh on the hair.
Are there any other differences between the two collars. Is the fur saver collar supposed to be used in the same way as a choke collar.
I think you answered yourself... Fur saver is a real fur saver... choke well you probably end up with a boldie around the neck at least my friends did...
I think I was just reading to much into it. For some reason I thought there was another use for the fur saver.
I hear a lot about the negative effects of using a choke collar such as damaging the throat and surrounding hair and skin. I was just wondering if any of you had experienced any of these problems from using a choke collar.
There were posts here about that topic..Choke, Prong flat... and other collars.
I remember 8 years ago... the only reason some people would buy choke, was because it looked "pretty" on a dog and I am not kidding. After I saw the result of the hair being almost gone.. I used only my 12 years old collar IT still works... I even had that thing sent to me from Europe....
