Oh, for the love of..........
"Holocaust On Your Plate," eh? Man, that is one self-righteous group of people to have the unmitigated gall to equate KFC's practices to the actual Holocaust.
As for the wingnut who changed his name...sure, people will take him seriously now, right? I'm all for the "ethical" treatment of animals but my gawd, people, let's keep things in perspective. Sheesh.

I think it's great 'cuz it now makes it even easier to identify the idiots. Maybe it will catch on with all his cohorts.
Unfortunately, this stupidity may be passed on to undeserving off-spring. For example, just read that Penn Jillette (of Penn & Teller) named his daughter Moxie CrimeFighter Jillette. "We chose her middle name because when she's pulled over for speeding she can say, `But officer, we're on the same side,'" Jillette explained. "`My middle name is CrimeFighter.'"
This makes for a very long introductions, "Hi, my name is Moxie CrimeFighter . . . and, yes, my mom and dad are idiots."

We had a PETA PUKE call the office on Friday and TRY to give my secretary some serious heat about how I promote sport that "recommend hitting dogs with sticks".
My staff is trained to give it back just as hard as they get. I on the other hand recommend they insert their heads where most peoples heads won't fit.
When Kelly (my secretary) brought up Schutzhund - this fool said "SCHUTZHUND - HOW DO YOU SPELL THAT?" :-)

How about, "We do not promote striking dogs with any objects and only promote the humane use of e-collars. We invite any skeptics or critics to participate in a free personal demonstration.''
Ooops, sorry, my finger stuck. Did I really have that set on "10"?

Just keep in mind that PETA spawned the ALF and ELF movements under their wing. This is the worst bunch of eco terrorists in the world with miliions in damages to everything from mink farmers to ski resorts to their credit.
These folks support and harbor serious bad guys in their midst.
dealings with this group should be kept to a minimum and confrontations avoided.

they ARE dangerous, and because they "seem" to make sense to the "average" person, that makes them even more dangerous.
i work in the packing industry, and if you guys think YOU'RE a target, try having any part of butchering animals for a living. just tell 'em to worry about the poor livestock in this country and to quit worrying about a dog--maybe you'll be able to throw them off the scent
the thing that worries me about PETA, etc., is that so many people buy into their "...Poor, poor pitiful me..." scenario re livestock--and these are people that eat meat every day--and have never killed anything themselves, but give $$ to stop their own food supply!!!
i guess the logic, if any, escapes me. then, if that's not enough, get hysterical about DOGS (not that they're not important)--but what's the deal? do they have priorities?
i don't know--i just try to stay under the radar with these kinds of people...

As a cancer researcher, I find that they are also adorable when they protest the use in animals in medical research. I imagine they would prefer to serve as experimental animals themselves.
