We're throwing a party down in Dallas at the end of February, and there's an open invitation to all who would like to attend.
We've got several national and at least three international competitors coming already, and that's just from inside the region. We've had several other top teams from other regions express an interest.
If you want to throw your hat in the ring, now's your chance. But you better hurry - maximum capacity is 36.
Guess I'd better let my sister in Arlington know that she needs to plan on having company that weekend!
Just to let everyone know the trial is just a couple of weeks away. So far we have 18 dogs entered and there is still time for more. There is going to be a few world competitors and some national competitors entered into this event. We are going to have a kick ass raffle. The two decoys picked for the SchH3 work will receive a new Gappy sleeve and cove. So come on down and have some fun with us. Everyone is welcome small and tall.
Hmmm.... not familiar with that term. What is a "fasted dog" competition? My husband and I are planning on going; we just haven't worked out how I can work Thursday night in OKC and be in Texas in time for the tracking Friday morning.
Even if we don't make the tracking, we should be there for the obedience and protection.
What Dianne meant to say is "fastest" dog. Basically, we're having a "Rocket Recall" challenge on Saturday after obedience and before the helper tryouts. All dogs, all breeds, all ages, all levels. You can have someone hold your dog or do a down, wave a toy, etc. Fastest time from point A to point B wins a $50 gift certificate to an equipment supplier.
Overall it's going to be a great weekend with several national and international competitors taking the field.
