Hello All, I hope I am posting in the right place and that these kind of posts are OK. I currently have a 13wk old Presa Canario pup (bully breed).
I was wondering if anyone knew of any Quality trainers in or around Houston TX. I would like to work on everything from basic OB to protection work but PP will not be for a while so a quality trainer who is experienced with Bully breeds but does not do Protection is fine too. I appreciated everyones recommendations. Thanks!!
I am from Beaumont and I could never find one I was really happy with around here or Houston (everyone seemed to be old school with the choke chain). When Rita hit we evacuated to Austin I left/trained my pups with Triple Crown Acadamy which is in Austin for about 4 weeks. I was very pleased with the results. They are one of the premier places in the Country. I would recommend sucking it up and make the drive to Austin.

I am on the west side of Houston and there is Tri-County K9 Academy. They are located between Magnolia, Tomball and Waller. Right in the middle. I personally worked with them and do really like the way their dogs are treated. It always is appropriate!

Thank you so far for all the replies. I will check into each one. I wish driving to Austin (Triple Crown) or Dallas (Butch Cappel/K9Kountry) would be practical... but 3-4hr drives for basic work seems a little much for me right now. Once protection comes around yes. 1-2Hrs is ok though so keep the suggestions coming! Thanks!
